Perfect Little Bites

Chris has been doing private cheffing for well over a decade( before it was cool) I was lucky enough to be on Chris's Podcast where he speaks to others who do the same thing a few years back and in our continued professional/personal relationship was able to bring Chris up to New Jersey for a dinner.

Now you are probably thinking "that's weird you know this person outside of their business" and that's somewhat true though it's more of as a competitor though located far enough away our tribes don't clash so it's a alliance almost. Anyway the reason I felt compelled enough to leave this review was working on this event I feel like I hired Chris and got to be on the other end of things. And in that awesome almost out of body experience I wanted to leave a review for Chris due to his dedication and professionalism that he displayed in partaking in this event.
He cooked 4 excellent courses and outshone me as a host with his guest interaction and knowledge of the dishes he prepared.

Chris is a champion to all private chefs and I just wanted to leave this review, if you have never hired someone to cook for you and are in the DMV area (I think that's what they call Maryland/DC/ lower Pa) you should reach out to Chris!

We had a wonderful experience for our parents 50th Anniversary dinner. He worked within our budget and had so many delicious options it was hard to choose! We had the pepperoni spread, Maryland fish soup, braised short rib with mushroom sauce, spatzle, brussel sprouts, and lemon chèvre cheesecake. It was all phenomenal. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a private chef experience!

Chris is a talented chef. We invited friends over & we did not lift a finger. Aside from an EXCELLENT meal, Chris shared his cooking method's & ingredients with us. He provided all serveware and the kitchen was spotless when he left. We had an enjoyable evening & the only thing we had to do was enjoy the food & our guests. We cannot wait to have Chris' Perfect Little Bites again.

Absolutely delicious meal and fantastic service! My husband and I were searching for restaurants and things to do near Frederick, MD for our mini moon last week. We came across Perfect Little Bites and I'm so happy we did. Chef Chris was super responsive as we were trying to plan our 3-course meal with just a week's notice. We ended up with a smoked Gouda pimiento cheese, roasted carrot soup, Beef Tenderloin in a Vietnamese au poivre served with Roasted Brussels sprouts and coconut grits, and a malted milk pot de creme with chocolate ganache and sweet pretzel crumble. Everything was amazing and somehow while Chef Chris was making this masterpiece he was casually chatting with us without ever skipping a beat. We also really appreciated his compliance with all covid protocols - masks, distancing and gloves. This was a really memorable meal and worth every penny. Highly recommend.

I hired Chris to cook for my parent's 50th Anniversary and he was simply amazing!! From start to finish, he was personable, caring and extremely detailed in how he worked with us on every aspect of the meal. The food was incredible and my parents felt so spoiled on their special day! I would 100% recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much, Chris!!!

Chef Chris was amazing and our food was outstanding. Would highly recommend for date night or dinner parties. He is very personable, highly professional, and knowledgable. We had leftovers we enjoyed for days later. Even better, he cleaned up everything in the kitchen so I was able to truly relax and enjoy my birthday celebration. We can't wait till we can throw parties again and invite our friends.

My husband and I revived Chris's services as a wedding gift. We didn't know what to expect. It was delicious! Chris contacted us and asked what our diet was and tailored our meal to meet those dietary restrictions. He created a delicious four course meal that was both excellent and interesting. I especially loved his Filipino Adobo! I will definitely be using Chris's services again.

We were looking to do something super intimate given the pandemic and hired Chris for NYE. He was extremely responsive and worked with us closely to finalize our dinner menu. We had a mix of vegetarian and red meat diners and he made all our wishes come true. He made our NYE evening restaurant quality without having to step foot outside. I would highly recommend him if you are looking to create a special evening!

I'll be echoing my girl Beth L.'s sentiments, as it was in celebration of her that I got to experience Chef Chris' culinary talents. The food was outstanding, and he was totally chill and gracious enough to put up with a bunch of loud (probably vulgar) ladies delaying dinner much later than we originally planned--you would never have known given the quality of our dishes. As Beth mentioned, that cauliflower soup with bacon, scallions, and ras el hanout was phenomenal and we were all talking about it the rest of the wknd. He also put up with us making him the official photographer for a minute.

We loved hearing about how he started his business, and other thoughts and culinary advice he was kind enough to share. Bonus: he brings all the supplies! Dishes, cookware, you name it. He's a one-man show (apparently even if you don't have a stove-top), which is extra baller, especially if you are the type who doesn't cook and still has those gross non-stick $5 pans you bought from Target when you moved away to undergrad (it's time to upgrade, guys--we're official adults now).

Hiring a chef for a night was such a genius idea, and I encourage everyone to find an occasion to treat yo' self in that way. I'm sure we'll be hiring him again soon.
